A Merry Christmas Wish for You

Merry Christmas!

Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, I share my hopes with you reflected in the refrain of the song “My Grown-Up Christmas Wish” composed by David Foster and Linda Thompson-Jenner.

“No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up Christmas list.”

Blessings to you today and throughout the New Year.

What grown-up wish would you add?

  1. Thoughtful post, Betty. I would add the following grown-up wish: That people would treat animals with kindness. Happy Holidays! May you have much success and joy in 2014!

  2. That's a wonderful wish! Our pets bring us so much joy, and all animals are part of Creation. Thanks for adding that, Deborah. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

  3. Lovely wish is that on Christmas day (and every other day) people would forgive someone they think has wronged them.

  4. Wouldn't that change the world, Joanna? And how often are wrongs imagined yet we carry the pain? That's a great Christmas wish. Blessings on you in the New Year!
